Ian Rowe Woodturning

Ian Rowe Woodturning has turned from a hobby to a thriving business, keeping Ian extremely busy every day for the week.

Ian started his business as a hobby over eighteen years ago, whilst working full time for a large local printer. The hobby has gradually taken over, and now Ian dedicates most evenings and weekends to the art of woodturning.

Ian is a qualified lecturer for Cornwall Adult Education College, providing tuition and practical workshops throughout the year.

Ian Rowe woodturning can be found in select galleries and craft shops throughout Cornwall, although Ian is more than happy to undertake commissions, in a variety of home grown and exotic woods as well as unique acrylics.

One of Ian’s specialalities is a bespoke keepsake for those special occasions and can often be found in the local crematoriums or funeral parlours, supplying to over 20 different establishments throughout the country.

At Ian Rowe Woodturning we not only turn items, we can texture, colour, carve and apply pyrography to any turned item giving that extra special personal touch.
